Welcome

Once again, and with the same enthusiasm as in previous years, we present a new edition of our traditional course. It is another opportunity to explore innovation and emerging trends within the exciting world of surgery.
Driven by this spirit—and the enthusiasm of a dedicated team committed to innovation and education—we have developed the program for the “46th Surgery Update Course”, specifically titled “34th Laparoscopic Surgery Course: Innovations and Minimally Invasive Surgery”. This event will take place from February 3 to 5, 2027.
Just as we did last year, we are moving the venue from the hospital to a city hotel. Last year’s experience confirmed that the connectivity ensures the same high-quality live surgical streaming as in previous years, while also offering more space and comfort for everyone.
Innovation, standardization, debates, and an analysis of both current realities and future developments in the exciting field of surgery will all be covered over these three intense days. Up to 11 live surgeries will be performed by world-renowned experts. We have brought together the most innovative surgeons from the national and international stages—leaders who embrace the revolutionary changes in surgery—to share their insights and perspectives, and to open our minds to what lies ahead.
Additionally, on February 3, we will hold a pre-course addressing one of a surgeon’s worst nightmares: anastomotic leaks. We will cover how to perform a safe anastomosis, how to detect leaks, and how to manage them.
We look forward to welcoming you to Seville in person—with the same enthusiasm as always—to share friendship, science, and innovation once again.
Don’t miss this event !
